The tool
An americano generator does the job that otherwise takes pen, paper and a patient organizer: working out who partners whom, on which court, and who has to sit out. In PadelFlow you enter the names and the app draws a random first round. Every round after that is built for maximum variety: repeated partners are avoided first, repeated opponents second, and the teams are balanced by play time.
Court assignment comes included. With several courts, the matches are spread across them automatically, and with more players than court spots the generator runs the bench for you: the players with the fewest matches played go on court first, and if that is level, whoever has sat out the most takes priority. Nobody sits twice before everyone has sat once.
While you play, you do exactly one thing: enter the result when a match is done — every match is played to 24 points. The leaderboard updates live, ranking by points and then wins, so the standings are always current between rounds.
The difference from a static schedule is that nothing is locked in up front. Rounds are generated one at a time, based on what actually happened: who has played, who has sat, and how many rounds you get through. If your court time runs out early, you simply stop — the leaderboard crowns the winner either way.
How to use it
Nothing to install and nothing to prepare — the generator lives in the web app and is ready in under a minute.
Open the generator — one tap lands you straight in setup with Americano already selected. No signup.
Check the format — Americano gives everyone the same amount of play, and the score never affects who you play with. Want closer matches instead? Switch to Mexicano on the same screen.
Add players and courts — at least four players per court, up to 32 players across 1–8 courts.
Play — the first round is drawn immediately, and the next round is generated as you enter the scores.
Example
The rounds below are the first three from a session with eight players on two courts — generated by the same engine that will build yours. Everyone is in play every round, and nobody has had the same partner twice.
| Round | Court 1 | Score | Court 2 | Score |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Anna + Bruno vs Carla + David | 16–8 | Emma + Felix vs Greta + Hugo | 13–11 |
| 2 | Anna + Emma vs Bruno + Felix | 14–10 | Carla + Greta vs David + Hugo | 9–15 |
| 3 | Anna + Carla vs Emma + Greta | 12–12 | Bruno + David vs Felix + Hugo | 17–7 |
The full evening — all seven rounds, the final standings and how the bench handles odd counts — is in the complete worked example on the americano page, along with the rules, point variants and timings.
Not sure which format? Pick americano when everyone should play with everyone as much as possible — and mexicano when you would rather have the standings build the evenest possible matches.
FAQ
Yes. Setting up and playing sessions in PadelFlow is free, in both the web app and the iOS app. There is no card to enter and no paywall in front of the rounds — run as many sessions as you like.
No. Sessions work entirely without signing in: players, rounds and results are stored on your device. An Apple or Google account is only needed if you want shared groups across sessions — the generator itself requires nothing.
Yes. The rounds are computed locally on your device, not on a server, and everything is stored locally. The generator keeps working when the signal at the club is poor or gone completely.
At least four players per court, up to 32 players and 1–8 courts in one session. With more players than court spots, the bench rotates automatically: whoever has played the least goes on court first, so everyone plays roughly the same amount.
There is no PDF or print export. The rounds and the leaderboard live in the app and the web app and are generated round by round as results come in, so most groups keep a phone or tablet visible by the court — everyone checks the next round and the standings there.
